A difficult weekend for MM at the Grand Finale of the 2024 BOSS GP season in Misano. Since the first free practice session, Simone Colombo, one of the contenders for the class title, had to deal with some engine problems but managed to qualify in P3. Juju Noda took pole position in qualifying practice with Max Cuccarese in P2 and Vladimir Netusil in sixth place.
The first stages of Race 1 were frenetic with a first plot twist that saw Antonio Pizzonia (HS Engineering), author of the overall Pole, having difficulty leaving the grid during the rolling start with his World Series V8 4.5. The cars behind him fortunately manage to overtake him and first Marco Ghiotto and then Harald Schlegelmilch take the lead, before leaving the leadership again to Pizzonia. It is exactly during these first laps that a good, close fight breaks out between Colombo and Ghiotto, which unfortunately then leads to a race contact in turn 2, which will cause Simone's Dallara to overturn (fortunately without any physical consequences for the driver), resulting in a retirement for the MM driver, a drive-through penalty for Ghiotto and the safety car deployment.
Behind them there is also a duel between Max Cuccarese and Juju Noda, respectively P1 and P2 in the Formula class, with Max who, after a great overtake on Juju, leads the group until the last lap before the chequered flag. However, a few corners from the end, the Japanese driver tries to overtake her teammate at the limit, causing an accident on the last corner. Both do not finish the race and Juju is given a 25 second penalty for being responsible for that accident. Meanwhile, Vladimir Netusil takes advantage and manages to overtake O'Connell in the photo finish on the finish line, giving MM a superb victory that brings back a few smiles to the garage.
During the post-race there is an intense argument between Juju's manager Hideki and the team members, which ends with the team's decision not to let the Japanese driver participate in Sunday's race. MM therefore decides to interrupt the collaboration with Noda for her behavior not in line with the team’s principles of sportsmanship and collegiality.
Race 2 on Sunday unfortunately sees Colombo out of the race even before getting on the track, due to an inexplicable technical problem never encountered before, which occurred on his Dallara GP2; the same fate incomprehensibly also befalls Cuccarese's car. Max is entrusted with Juju's car, while Simone is forced not to race, as he has no further cars available to the team, readily adaptable for the driver in the short time available before the start, thus giving up even his last hopes of bringing home the title.
After a hard-fought start, Cuccarese once again takes the lead of the race like the previous day, but due to a mistake on the last lap, his chances of victory disappear, with Paul O'Connell who celebrates on the first step of the podium , followed by Ghiotto (who wins the title). Unfortunately Max has to settle for P3. Another positive confirmation also from Vladimir Netusil, who finished Race 2 in P4.
After getting back to the workshop, the MM staff unfortunately got the confirmation that Colombo and Cuccarese's cars have been sabotaged, after a theft that occurred the night before Race 2 (a wiring cut in the same position with a cutter in both cars). Although with great bitterness, MM avoids controversy, firmly reiterating its values of integrity, respect and justice in sport.
MM would like to thank the BOSS GP organization for their support throughout the Championship and also to the other teams for their support during this difficult time at the last race.
Another weekend of great satisfaction for MM International Motorsport, not only thanks to the double podium in P1 by Simone Colombo, but also to the confirmation of the great potential of the very young Max Cuccarese, who got on the podium in P2 in both races and from the excellent debut in the race behind the wheel of a Dallara GP2 of Vladimir Netusil.
The weekend that took place at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, home race for the MM team, has in fact confirmed the values on the field of the Italian squad.
After dominating both free practice sessions and Qualifying Practice of his category, Simone Colombo set his seal on Race 1, conquering the first position overall, ahead of his teammate Max Cuccarese and the F1 car of Ingo Gerstl. Max's performance was noteworthy, as, despite being forced to skip a free practice session due to a technical failure, he was consistently driving with same lap times as his teammate. A bit of bad luck for the new team representative from the Czech Republic, Vladimir Netusil, who despite his great race pace, due to his lack of experience, made a mistake during an attempt to overtake Marco Ghiotto at the third to last corner, which relegated him to fourth position, unfortunately seeing an almost certain hat-trick of MM on the podium slipping away by a hair's breadth.
Race 2 once again saw Simone and Max side by side on the starting grid, with Max immediately chasing his teammate like a shadow, forcefully conquering the second step of the Formula class podium, a few tenths behind Simone. Vladimir, affectionately nicknamed by the team "The Pitbull" - for his great attacking skills - started from the third row (P6 overall and P4 in the Formula class) and since the very first laps was the fastest on the track. On lap 4, just when he was in 4th position, he unfortunately made a mistake during a battle with Ghiotto, went into a spin and forced to retire.
The Championship standings, with just one round to go until the end of this fantastic and super-competitive 2024, see Marco Ghiotto of Scuderia Palladio in front of everyone with 210 points, our Simone Colombo chasing in second place with 197.5 points and in third place we find Juju Noda with 146. Juju, who after a series of concurrence dates on the track with the Super Formula, will get back behind the wheel of the Dallara GP2 with MM for the last BOSS GP season appointment in Misano, where she will certainly do her best to score as many points as possible and make life difficult for his opponents.
See you for the Grand Finale in Misano from 1 to 3 November then.
The 4th Round of the season of the 2024 BOSS GP Championship ended a few days ago on the Dutch circuit of Assen, once again giving important points and great satisfaction to the MM team.
Right from the Free Practice it seemed clear who would have been the leaders of the weekend competing for the top step of the podium with our Simone Colombo ahead of everyone in both the first and second sessions on Friday and Juju Noda dominating Qualifying Practice, placing her Dallara GP2/2011 in P1 ahead of her teammate, with an excellent Max Cuccarese, making his debut in the Championship, P5 overall, P4 in the Formula class ranking
Race 1 ends with a wonderful Colombo – Cuccarese one-two, in first and second place respectively, ahead of Marco Ghiotto of Scuderia Palladio. First time on the podium in BOSS GP for the only eighteen-year-old Max and a lot of satisfaction for a mega result on his debut, definitely worth remembering. P5 for the Japanese Juju Noda who started from Pole but due to a mistake at the start, on the first lap found herself in 7th position, stuck in traffic. Despite the good pace, a long safety car did not allow her to recover enough on her rivals and she therefore had to settle for fifth position at the finish line.
In Race 2 the situation is reversed with Juju who gets the victory ahead of Ghiotto and her teammate Max, who once again can savor the emotion of a well-deserved podium. Bad luck for Simone, who started immediately behind Juju but after a restart from the safety car, made a mistake on the fast corner, which compromised his race due to a mechanical problem with the right rear suspension and which relegated him to P16 in the final standings.
Once the Assen race is over, the BOSS GP Championship will return to the track in October and November, for those that represent the home events for the MM team, Mugello and Misano and where both Simone and Juju, currently in second position with equal points in the standings (146), will give their best to try to win the 2024 Formula Class title, against who seems to be the most feared opponent for the MM team, Marco Ghiotto.
In the meantime, the work of the Italian team will go ahead, with a series of tests scheduled immediately after August 15th, to get ready for the end of the season in the best way possible.
The 4th Round of the 2024 BOSS GP Championship will get underway this weekend at the Assen circuit, in the Netherlands.
Simone Colombo and Juju Noda will be joined for the first time by the team's news entry, the driver from Potenza Massimiliano Cuccarese, who has just turned 18. Max will take part in the last 3 events of the season, also on board of a Dallara GP2 of the Italian team and, despite his lack of experience, he promises to do very well. His main objective for this race will be to gain experience and better integrate with the team, while Simone and Juju will resume their battle for the Championship, where they left it in June on the Red Bull Ring track.
Simone Colombo is currently in P2 in the FORMULA class Championship standings with 116 points, only 8 points behind Marco Ghiotto of Scuderia Palladio. The Japanese Noda is currently chasing in third place, 13 points behind her teammate.
There will certainly be no shortage of spectacle on the track in Assen and the MM team drivers will do their best to bring home an excellent result and as many Championship points as possible.
All eyes therefore on the Dutch circuit starting from Friday 2 August when the engines will start up for the first time for the Free Practice scheduled from 10:57 in the morning.
Another weekend started in the best way for the Italian team at the Austrian Red Bull Ring track. Juju Noda and Simone Colombo proved to be the drivers to beat from the very first Free Practice of the third Round of the 2024 BOSS GP Championship, bringing their Dallara GP2/2011 cars to P2 and P3 respectively in the general classification in both Friday sessions, which means P1 and P2 as regards the Formula class.
Same story in Qualifying Practice on Saturday, where Juju finished ahead of her teammate Simone by just over a tenth of a second.
Race 1 crowned Simone Colombo as the winner, while Juju, despite the great speed demonstrated throughout the weekend, only finished in P7, due to a penalty imposed by the race directors, due to incorrect alignment during the rolling start phase .
Race 2 was a completely different story for the Japanese driver, who forcefully conquered the first step of the Formula class podium, closing a noteworthy race which certainly represents an excellent preparation for her, in view of her next participation in the next round of the Super Formula Series, a championship that sees her competing in parallel with the BOSS GP in this 2024 season and whose Round 3 is scheduled on the Sportsland SUGO track, in Japan, on the weekend of June 22 and 23.
Unlucky race 2 however for Simone Colombo, who after starting the race at the top as usual, had to deal with a technical problem with the battery charging alternator just 5 laps from the finish line, which led to his retirement, having to settle for P15.
As regards the Formula Class Championship, after the Austrian race weekend, Simone loses the leadership in the standings in favor to his opponent from Scuderia Palladio, Marco Ghiotto, currently P1 with 124 points against Simone's 116, predicting a very competitive season’s follow-up.
Very good job done by Juju who, with the excellent results scored this weekend, places herself in third place in the standings, only 13 points behind her teammate.
A result worth remembering for Simone Colombo during the second round of the 2024 BOSS GP Championship, which took place on the Nürburgring racetrack in Germany last weekend.
The driver from Milan has put everyone behind him since Friday, obtaining P1 in Free Practice, as well as on Saturday in Qualifying and in Race 1, taking his Dallara GP2/2011 to the top in the Formula class also on Sunday in Race 2.
Simone thus extends his lead in the general drivers' classification where he is the leader with 87 points, followed by Marco Ghiotto of Scuderia Palladio, 9 points behind him.
Unluckiest weekend for the Japanese Juju Noda, currently in P4 in the standings with 62 points. Unfortunately, during Free Practice her car suffered an irreparable electrical fault, but with great and hard team work and also thanks to the support of the opponents of Scuderia Palladio (Nardi Compressori Racing), the team managed to readjust their reserve car and putting Juju in a position to take part in Qualifying, where she achieved an excellent P3 overall (P2 in the Formula class), just behind her teammate Simone.
In Race 1, a super exciting duel between the two drivers already at the first corner: Simone, who started from the first place on the grid, tried to defend himself from his teammate who initially got the better of him. After a few meters, however, Simone took back P1, while Juju was forced to recover a few positions. Well deserved podium for both drivers in the end with Simone in P1 and Juju on the third step of the podium.
The rivalry between the two teammates also continued in Race 2, giving rise to a super exciting battle, until in an attempt to overtake her teammate, Juju lost the rear end, spinned and was forced to retire. So much disappointment for her and same feeling also for the entire team who had worked so hard to allow her to demonstrate her great potential on the track again and who once again would like to congratulate both drivers for the excellent performances throughout the weekend.

Next round in two weekends at the Red Bull Ring on the weekend of June 8-9.
The first round of the 2024 season of the BOSS GP Championship for the Italian team MM International Motorsport did not start in the best way ever, but it ended with both official drivers on the podium in Race 2. Some small technical problems with the cars in Free Practice on Friday did not allow the full potential of the team's Dallara GP2/2011 to be exploited, but both the driver from Milan Simone Colombo and the Japanese Juju Noda were very fast on the track, P3 and P4 overall respectively (P1 and P2 in the Formula Class standings).
Mega performance by Colombo in Qualifying Practice: with a time of 1:26.574 he obtained second place overall (P1 in the Formula class), right ahead of his teammate Juju Noda who, due to a different strategy compared to Colombo, was unable to complete that perfect lap necessary to obtain the Pole Position.
Race 1 to forget for both drivers: the two find themselves side by side on the grid and Juju, at the rolling start, has an excellent start and manages to overtake her teammate. The latter, however, fails to close turn 1 and hits Juju's right rear tire with his left front flap which gets a puncture and both end up out of the race, with only Simone still managing to finish in P14 in the standings and take home some consolation points.
Race 2 was a completely different story with Simone and Juju leading the way compared to their opponents (Marco Ghiotto of Scuderia Palladio, who came third had a gap of 39.695 from the MM Japanese driver). Simone takes the victory, securing the top step of the podium for the Formula class, always followed by Juju who finishes the race in second place, just 5 tenths behind his teammate after 13 laps.
BREAKING NEWS – MM International Motorsport is pleased to welcome Juju Noda as part of the team for the 2024 BOSS GP Season.
Juju was born in 2006 in Tokyo. Daughter of formula 1 driver Hideki Noda, she inherited his love of speed. Juju started karting when she was 3 and made her racing debut at the age of 4. She took part in the “FORMULA UNDER 17 & SENIOR” from 2017, raced a Formula 4 single seater at the age of 11 and won all three races she started!
Moving to Europe to gain experience in Danish F4 and W Series, Juju then went on to win the 2023 Italian F3 Championship (Zinox Series) and she became the first woman ever to win a Euroformula Open race the same year.
Some new big challenges awaits her for 2024 as she will be the first Japanese woman and the youngest driver to enter the SUPER Formula, one the world's most competitive series, as well as also competing in Europe with the MM International Motorsport team in the BOSS GP Series.
Welcome to the MM family, Juju!
BREAKING NEWS – MM International Motorsport is pleased to announce the extension of the collaboration contract with its driver Simone Colombo also for the 2024 BOSS GP season.
Simone was born in Rho (Milan) in April 1987. Between 2008 and 2012 he took part in various regional, national and even international karting races and, subsequently, after a ten-year break away from racing, he made his debut in the BOSS GP series in 2021 behinf the wheel of an MM team car, achieving extraordinary results already in his rookie season, winning the title of Vice Champion in the Formula class.
In 2022 and 2023 he clearly defeated his opponents, winning the title of BOSS GP Formula Class Champion and in 2024 he will on track as an official driver of the MM team, ready to defend his status as Champion and once again keep up the team’s colors.
It is the bearer of the MM International Motorsport team, Simone Colombo, who wins (for the second time in a row, after last year's victory) the title of 2023 BOSS GP Champion of the Formula Class, with a full two races to spare on Marco Ghiotto ( Scuderia Palladio).
Simone arrived in Monza very excited for the weekend in front of his home crowd, certain of his potential and that of the team, immediately putting everyone behind him right from the first two Free Practice sessions held on Friday on a wet track.
Qualifying with difficult track conditions on damp asphalt, during which the 8 minutes available to Simone were unfortunately not enough to take home the Pole Position (and thus put the icing on the cake of a perfect weekend), which went to the direct rival for the title Marco Ghiotto. David Richert, driving the team's second Dallara GP2 during the weekend in Monza, did very well in the wet and found himself very comfortable with the car from the first laps and placed P3 in the standings at the conclusion of qualifying.
Still on a damp track with dry tyres, it is characterized by a beautiful wheel-to-wheel duel between Colombo and Ghiotto and ends with a race contact between the two cars, which fortunately do not suffer any damage, but force Ghiotto to "settle" for the third step of the podium, leaving the victory to the MM driver. Unlucky race for David Richert who unfortunately makes a mistake at the exit of the pits; a wet curb caused him to lose control of the car and forced him to retire.
Simone Colombo starts again from second position on the grid, with perfect weather conditions, a dry track and the possibility for him to immediately find excellent feedback with the track to put in fast lap after fast lap. At the Roggia Simone takes the opportunity to get ahead of his opponent Ghiotto, taking advantage of a mistake made by his rival and thus once again conquering the top step of the podium.
Satisfaction also for Richert who took home an excellent 5th place in Race 2, also taking advantage of the first half of the laps to gain confidence with the car in the dry, after the entire weekend had been characterized by a wet or humid track.
With this further victory, Simone puts his signature on the 2023 Formula class Championship for the second consecutive year. Congratulations to him and the whole team for the great work done, as well as congratulations to our direct opponents, Ghiotto first and foremost, who created a wonderful and hard-fought season together with us.
See you at Mugello, once the games are over, of course, but with still a great desire to do well and demonstrate our values on the pitch!
The MMi Motorsport Team is proud to announce the participation of the Canadian David Richert in the sixth seasonal round of the 2023 BOSS GP Championship, the "Nardi Compressori BOSS GP Race", scheduled this weekend, from 22 to 24 September, at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Richert will be driving a Dallara GP2 of the Italian team.
A high level driver, with great experience and excellent results behind him such as his 2nd place in the Drexler Automotive Formula 3 Cup Championship last season.
David will join teammate Simone Colombo, currently leading the BOSS GP Formula Class standings, after 5 rounds with a haul of 247 points.
The whole MM team welcomes David on board. Everybody here is sure about a great result on the Monza track this weekend!
A weekend marked by high temperatures, the one that just ended on the "Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli" track, where the 4th Round of the BOSS GP Series Championship took place and which gave the MM International Motorsport team great emotions.
The Italian team lined up 3 drivers on the grid: the championship leader in the Formula Class, Simone Colombo, the Monegasque Marc Faggionato and the Brazilian Adriano Buzaid.
The latter was the author of an authoritative weekend, taking home a deserved victory in Race 2, with an advantage of 0.8 seconds over his closest opponent for the entire weekend, Harald Schlegelmilch of the HS Engineering team.
Making his debut in BOSS GP (after a break in single-seaters that lasted 13 years, from his last race in F3), the 35-year-old Brazilian conquered the Pole Position of the Formula Class in Qualifying Practice (P2 overall) and in Race 1 he finished on the second step of the podium, behind Schlegelmilch, ahead of his teammate, the Italian Simone Colombo.
Good 6th placement also for Marc Faggionato, back on track after missing the Red Bull Ring Round.
A completely different story in Race 2 where Buzaid reversed the situation and managed to cross the finish line in front of Schlegelmilch, taking the final victory. Another excellent third place for Colombo who managed to keep his Dallara ahead of his rival in the standings Marco Ghiotto (Scuderia Palladio), securing very important points for the fight for the 2023 title.
Another 6th place for Faggionato who showed a good race pace and excellent performances throughout the weekend.
After celebrating the excellent results achieved, the MM staff will immediately return to work to prepare for the next BOSS GP round of the season, scheduled just before August 15th, and more precisely from August 12th to 13th, on the Assen circuit in the Netherlands on the occasion of "Jack's Racing Day".
